As a member of the WRCU, you are entitled to both no-cost and low cost insurance coverage to protect you and your family against different type of losses. This is a very important benefit we offer and hope you'll take the time to review the following insurance programs:

These coverages are different than the National Credit Union Association federal deposit insurance.

Life Savings Insurance:
We provide at no cost to you, a Life Savings Insurance plan that will pay a death benefit based on certain eligibility requirements such as age and the amount of money you had in your Share Savings account.

Credit Life Insurance:
This low-cost protection insures that your outstanding loan balances will be covered if you should die. Each consumer loan you have at the WRCU can be insured up to a maximum of $25,000. It removes the added burden your family could face if anything should happen to you as the primary borrower on a loan. This insurance is also available for the co-borrower for a minimal additional cost. We roll the cost of the monthly insurance premium into your monthly loan payment.

Credit Disability Insurance:
We offer payment protection with Credit Disability Insurance on qualified loans you have at the Credit Union. This insurance coverage will pay your monthly loan payments to a maximum of $1,000 per month and a total maximum of $30,000 should the primary borrower become disabled due to a medically determined sickness or injury.

We roll the cost of the monthly insurance premium into your monthly loan payment. It's affordable and will give you and your family peace of mind.

Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance:
If you meet the insurance plan qualifications, you are eligible for our basic $5,000 no-cost AD&D insurance. You may also purchase additional insurance at a very affordable premium.
